Singing a New Song at Perks Day Today!

The church was a buzzing this morning as we started our first Perk's day of the year.  Thank you to Judy K. and her group for opening with some laughs but also a note to continue our thanksgiving all year.  She will leave out a Peter Fish next time we meet if you would like to make a donation for the CRWRC for those that are less fortunate than ourselves.  Thanks for the thought provoking message.
Then we were off to our different workshops.  Some of you had the opportunity to learn how to make different colours through paints with Wilhelmina K.  There was lots of talking and busy work going on in the councel room.  They enjoyed it so much they are coming next week to make a painting.  The ladies in the Worship Dance Workshop had such a wonderful time of movement through worship in song.  Teresa P. did an awesome job leading us in praising with dance and flags.  Very moving :) pun intended).    Finally a large group of women enjoyed making crafts for Samaritan's Purse for orphans and alot of talking and laughing was going on in the Fellowship Hall as they made dolls, and belts and necklaces and more ...  Wow!  What a wonderful morning.  Just the love and caring and the joy of being together and doing something new , maybe even outside of our comfort zone.  It felt like we were all singing a new song this morning!  Praise God.
